A Message from Our President
Please join us to get involved in this wonderful life-affirming organization and experience
the good feeling you get when you’ve helped to grant a wish.
— Esther Okeke-Obiefoka, President & Founder, Fani Foundation Organization Inc.
Welcome to Fani Foundation.org, the online home of the organization. Since 2007, the
Fani Foundation Organization Inc.® has given hope, strength and joy to people living
with HIV/AIDs and their family. From our humble beginnings with my mother's wish to be
able to help people in need.
We are trying to achieve these goals thanks to an unmatched network of volunteers,
donors, sponsors and staff members. Everything we do is focused on enhancing the
condition of pregnant women, children, new born babies, people living with HIV/AIDS
and to promote computer education in West Africa and USA, and we devote ourselves
to serving them first: Approximately 85 percent of each dollar we are going to raise will
go directly toward granting their wishes and encouraging clean environment, which
promote healthy living.
Please explore our site and learn about our mission. We hope you’ll be moved to get
involved. We have many volunteer opportunities to suit your talents, and we always
welcome new donors and sponsors. Thank you for visiting our Web site!
Warmest Wishes,
Esther Okeke-Obiefoka
President & Founder

Christian life up till her death. She was a member of Guild and Mother's Union, and of

After receiving her Domestic Training Certificate from Abaya Umuocham Domestic

years. In 1954, she married Late Hon. Chief Akunne O.C. Sam Okeke and they were
blessed with children.
As a politician, Vio held many responsible posts. She served as a councillor in Nnewi

Health. She ensures that the general hospital and the clinics in former Mbanano L.G.
Area is equipped and functional. Her devotion was on pregnant women and children.
As a trained nurse, she was quiet aware of the plight these people are facing. She
continued this flight till her death and Fani Foundation Organization Inc. will continue
where she left off.
She was also a versatile industrialist. She was a member of Iyiowa Co-operative

in the development of the state and the nation.
Vio, you are gone but not forgotten. She will be missed, but our memories are all good
ones. Whether she was to us mother, grandmother or aunt, friend, colleague or
teacher, we all count it as a joy, blessing, and privilege to have known her because we
will not stop till her dreams are met.
